Building Rural Recovery Ecosystems refers to creating coordinated, community-based networks in rural areas that support individuals recovering from substance use disorders (SUD). These ecosystems integrate healthcare, employment, housing, transportation, and peer support services to help people in recovery rebuild their lives sustainably.

This session will introduce participants to the concept of stigma, how it manifests in the context of substance use, and its implications for people who use substances.
